Time to cut the Mr Niceguy act and drop some of the underperforming/low ability players in Woods, Johns, Croker, Parker and Tuilagi. If they aren't playing up to first grade standard, it's time to give them a kick in the arse.
Fifita has surprisingly been poor for the dragons over the past 3 weeks, barely cracking 50 m this week. Alec has been the better of the two. If he got a chance in first grade he may provide more impact, but not setting the world alight.
Apparently a large number of manly players were affected by flu/cold through the week. I may be clutching at straws for hope, but this may have been a contributing factor to the awful team performance.
I think the most pleasing thing about this game is that we maintained the intensity for the full 80 against a top team. We haven't done that much over the past 10 years...
