We will find out soon enough we simply don't know so have to trust the brains trust, however they have taken a couple of risks in selections that haven't ended well, hope it's different this time. Just seems short sightedness, to risk not only him going down after the first tackle, and be forced to play with 3 on the bench for the rest of the game and then if we do win, likely be in worse condition for arguabley stronger opposition in the next weeks game. Jake Simpkin signed until 2026
One thing that does effect Croker's dummy half options is our slow play the ball, we hardly win the ruck which then makes dummy half look cumbersome.... yes I know Crokes is, but could be why defence picks him off better than we do the opposition dummyhalf, because they are getting quicker play...- ManEagle

Oh please no, surely we can be smarter than this. Just having him floating in the background can be enough to distract some attention for lehi or Garrick and co without him taking the 4th tackle hit up. Use him sparingly but potently at the right time please Seibs and DCE.- ManEagle

In theory, with the amount of defence these two get through, it's the other fwds role to get the go fwd happening. They have their roles. But if we get quicker ruck and service speed and slightly more dynamic dummy and lock plays, would we not get better roll-on and go fwd ?- ManEagle

Finals bound
Problem is, it's the games we "shouldnt" be worried about that we have butchered, even with a handy lead. Has me nervous. That said strangely I am More confident of a win after losing to the sharks than I would have been if we had won. But that's the inconsistency of the team- ManEagle

Unlike others, yes I agree I value Croker, he needs to be in the team from the players we have, so is just a bit of movement and just my opinion as an ex half that has held his own as Hooker and as defensive as he is could make a real go of it at lock.- ManEagle
