    If I had to choose between Savala and DCE I'd choose Savala hands down. A fraction of the price and a much bigger upside. DCE is only going to get worse from here, Savala is only going to get better.

    I still think Tom and Jake are capable of playing first grade, we just can't afford to have them taking up so much of the cap. If both of them dropped down closer to $500k we could round out the squad with some better props and bench players.

    Our forwards are the problem, not the backs. Unfortunately the injuries to Paseka and Olakau'atu mean we are basically stuffed now. Avoiding the spoon is all we have to look forward to.

    I think his motives would have been mixed, it came out back at the time that Turbo told Daley that his body wasn't right for Origin, I assume that was a factor for him. But I imagine it's also the case that he didn't want to miss a Manly game just to be 18th man for NSW.

    Muagututia will be the next man up unless we recruit a hooker. He's only 18 (19 now maybe?) so he might get some chances off the bench from next year. I don't think we will see him this year unless both Croker and Simpkin are injured.
