    This is the other part of it that really bugs me. How can the 'borrowed' player claim a premiership ring. I couldn't imagine it'd feel anywhere near as satisfying. If the team is that good, then they should be able to win the comp without the need for extra backup.

And how about having even just one tiny piece of loyalty to the clubs you play for. How can you be a group of brothers playing for each other when the bastard...

    The most obvious solution was to let the 7 players wear the regular jersey, as you mention - its not all that different and very hard to see the difference from a distance. I'm surprised at the NRL's stubborn stance regarding this.

    Good on you mate Yes we are all Sea Eagles Wish the players showed more unity..I see more unity in the fans. Perhaps most of us have a connection because we grew up around the area or our families did at least. Must support the whole community, that’s what a team is all about
