I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say it’s really hard for us to compete with both Jake and croker in the middle. They are both fantastic defenders but having two players who stifle the attack is just not okay- Heckenberg

The game has moved on from me and a lot of people from my generation
Turn on the Koori knockout. Watching the women’s teams play and I reckon half the tackles would be bins in nrl. Shows how sanitised the nrl has gotten. So refreshing to watch some unstructured league.- Heckenberg

It’s pretty much right there for a full time top 30 player I think. Crazy considering we would be paying this much for aitasi james , Ben Condon etc. makes me think that lodge probably hasn’t been the most valuable commodity as far as culture goes. He seems like a bit of an odd bloke.- Heckenberg

I think he will take a really reduced contract but the nrl will likely stand in his way. He may stay a couple more years until someone really special comes off contract.- Heckenberg

the 40-20 attempt was pretty terrible and there was more than one occasion where he went to run the opposite way that our attack had lined up. Cant expect him to be perfect with the amount of work he gets through in defence but his service and decisions are sometimes pretty sub par.- Heckenberg
