    This 100%, like him or lump him we needs Brooks in 2026, whilst Walsh and Large gain experience and come through. That said, advising him he is free to look at options for 27 when the market is hot with the Bears is a great option for us and Brooks. I'd go as far as to tell him now he is free...

    I think I'd prefer the Roosters to be stuck paying DCE 2mil over the next two years whilst he declines and Smith, Savala and Rodwell go elsewhere, than the Roosters back.out a DCE gets caught with nothing. Both satisfying for different reasons but I'd take option A.

    So Tino has clauses in his contract meaning he can leave at the end of 26. He is the one, forget Haas, get Tommy and Jake to downgrade, dont resign Croker and Brown and bring in Tino. Optimistic I know but do what you can.
