    [Resurrected] Paseka

It was reported he was training the house down, but as I said before, it's just not the same as game day. I thought he looked okay when he first came on but he really doesn't have any impact for his size and weight. He surrenders on contact and players that are shorter and lighter bend the line...

    Other NRL games round 5

Will be interesting to see the debut of 22 year old prop Keaon Koloamatangi for the bunnies this week and what he can do. Age shouldn't be the determining factor. Hass is 20 and he's certainly proved himself when 19 years old.

    [Resurrected] Paseka

Yes he does need an uninterrupted run. Hopefully he will have a bit of luck. I'm not real sure on the actual run of injuries but I'm pretty convinced it's a least 2 if not more per season. It's hard to get a unbroken run if you're picking up 2-3 injuries a season. Still has strapping on the knee...

    PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Parramatta v Manly [Round 4, 2020]

Side unchanged and we will get on top of them. A tougher task, but I have faith.

    Good early signs

Granted he was coming back from injury and the turf was slippery, but it was slippery for everyone. This is his 3rd year I think. Didn't he play first grade in 2018?

    Good early signs

He has never really shown his size. So many play and go harder that are no where near his height or weight. Heart and passion are key. Looking the part doesn't always equal the part.

Round 3: NON Manly games - discussion

I stand corrected in my word choice. It will expose the ploders If we have them.

End of the massive Islander Boys?

The imposters will be uncovered fairly quickly, trouble is, how much cap do they eat up and how long will it take to move them on and get the new look, upgrade replacement in.

End of the massive Islander Boys?

Not many of them are lazy, but the lazy ones are very good at looking busy but mostly ineffective. .

Round 3: NON Manly games - discussion

Yes the big bodied boys will struggle. Marty doesn't look heavy, not sure about AFB. Keppie hasn't got that lumbering body shape. It going to be interesting to see the smaller, talented, lighter weighted, shorter and more versatile players become the must haves and there are way more of them...

Round 3: NON Manly games - discussion

One thing it will expose is the ploders. Way easy to shine at training, another thing to play at the intensity the way this game looks like it headed. I think we have a couple of boys that just won't cut it.

Not too sure we should be grateful for Covid though.

Cue the numbnuts .. 1st in .. Bryce Cartwright

I think you have hit the nail directly on the head. If one member of the playing or coaching squad develops symptoms, and has been in close contact with the core group, then the whole squad would be isolated. This would disrupt training and matches. With flu season upon us, it is way more...

NRL: Restarting May 28th. Grand Final Oct 25th

Players might be scared of Des but if they aren't posting on social sites of what they are getting up too, then well and good. As I've stated before, every team will undoubtably have certain individuals that have not followed social distancing. They are human after all.

NRL: Restarting May 28th. Grand Final Oct 25th

If people believe that the whole top 30 of every single team including support staff have all socially isolated then all 16 teams need 14 Days strict isolation. Get them all to download that app and then their movements can be monitored. Ado and Mitchell were just demonstrating how stupid some...

    Club news

Anyone who stepped up, did the job (possibly, better than who was injured) gets the gig in my opinion. It's the nature of league. Injury or just not being on your game will often give those in waiting the opportunity to show what they offer. Your claim to a 0-17 jersey should only be determined...

NRL: Restarting May 28th. Grand Final Oct 25th

If people think that these two are the only two that have travelled, visited, had get togethers and basically ignored social distancing then they are kidding themselves. They just probably shared too much information on social media. League mentality and the culture of a large proportion of...

Did Des make it to the game?

Yeah he was in the box. Good to see almost all the injured and rested players there as well.

    Trial V Sharks

Keppie and Sipley a must in the 17 Can Gauca play prop? he's certainly big and strong enough and never went missing. I actually liked 22 as well. Hass only turned 20 late last year so there's no reason why he can't play NRL level footy at 19. Hass was dominating last year at 19 years of age. You...
