RIP Cliff Watson
My cousin got to play with him in Wollongong in the later stages of his career. I remember him saying he thought he had played with some tough hombres until he saw big Cliff in action. Catching up with him for a beer on Saturday night & I expect he will peel off those stories again.- Buck

They need to re-engage the fans on the eastern seaboard before heading west. Fix the product here before trying to flog it elsewhere. Knocking down and building a new stadium in an area that has terrible access and transport options is not the answer. It won't matter what they build if the fans...- Buck

Easily the most apathetic display from a Manly side in a long time. They left their attitude in the shed and were there in name only. That was embarrassing for any fan to have to stomach. Knowing that they are capable of such a capitulation is unnerving.- Buck

That's where Greenberg shot himself in the foot. Lodge openly lied in his interview but Greenberg would look foolish if he reneged on his agreement.
