    There king Ceo

Canterbury does not make any money from crowd sales. They are given $100,000 for every home game played there, as with most clubs that play there. The Leagues Club gives them $1mil a season not $4mil. Greenberg is rated the best CEO of the modern era, he's been tipped to be CEO of Cricket...

    Good old Parra

So they replace someone who "allegedly" harrassed a staff memeber with someone who punched the **** out of a female staff member, refused to give her sick leave, showed her porn and asked her to spank him. How are these guys still in the comp?

    When we were the Silvertails

It is goes back to demographics. As much as it pains me to say, Canterbury Leagues is in prime position for money making. An area crowded with Asians and Arabs, and as un-racist as this sounds, these are the two biggest gambling groups. Can also go back to the fact that a lot of money does...

Des Hasler and the Manly Sea eagles have called a truce allowing his immediate switch to the Bulldog

RE: Des Hasler and the Manly Sea eagles have called a truce allowing his immediate switch Great news, now we can focus on 2012, hope Toovey gets the boys ready. Only thing worrying me is the players walking out before season start.

    It's On!

From a financial point of view, it can cost them a lot more, Penn must get this over and done quickly. If Des is found innocent this will cost Penn a lot more, than the initial pay out of Des. I'm sitting on the fence here, I am interested as to how this pans out.

D Day for Des board meeting Friday

RE: Please Explain What has FSN reported?

The Penn is out of ink..

There will be no doubt light at the end of the tunnel, regardless. I am hoping that the board room is stabilised before kick off to the season. The players no doubt are all united as one, thankfully the problem did not spill over to them.

Manly Sea Eagles SACK coach Des Hasler

RE: Manly Sea Eagles stand down coach Des Hasler That is the main reason I think they may have more. You can't stand someone down without legal advice. Fair enough. Didn't think someone's word against Des was sufficient, but you may be right.

    Tony Williams.

Sensational player! Parramatta were not using him correctly at all. Great to see Manly get the best out of him.

Manly Sea Eagles SACK coach Des Hasler

RE: Manly Sea Eagles stand down coach Des Hasler Enough with the Dogs supporter bullsh*t. From a legal point of view, it is very hard to prove that he purposely told players to breach their contracts. I ain't a legal expert or anything, but it is very unlikely they can prove this.

Manly Sea Eagles SACK coach Des Hasler

RE: Manly Sea Eagles stand down coach Des Hasler My biggest worry is how does the board prove that he was deliberately getting players to break their contracts? Remember it's not what you know, but what you can prove. Just because he told a player follow suit to Canterbury, or sent a text...

    Ken Arthurson FSN

Arko must be pissed off with Greenberg. Back in his days, he and the late Bullfrog had an agreement where they would not poach from each other.

Manly Sea Eagles SACK coach Des Hasler

RE: Manly Sea Eagles stand down coach Des Hasler Proactive? More like reactive dude. They waited a whole month, from day one it should have been their reaction, not let 7 people walk out.

The REAL reason for the surge in bans as of late

Yeah! Because I have nothing better to do in my life than pretend to be a Manly fan just to get a reaction on a forum. Take your tinfoil hat off mate.

The REAL reason for the surge in bans as of late

Our board is a bunch of amateurs that don't know their head from their ass, rather than unite on issues, they all worry about their own agendas. Greenberg was a smart man (credit given where credit is due) and could see the issues in our beloved club. He made a business decision to provide Des...

    'On your bike, Hasler'

Let's just say the final straw in Des' fallout with the board is due to them not chasing/ upping a certain players contract. He had long term plans for a few key players, but Manly would have none of it. Those who talk don't know, those who know don't talk.....
