Well perhaps if he wasn’t soaking up $1.25m of the cap for all of that time, we could have afforded a decent “organising” halves partner for him. Never been so embarrassed
I’ll admit, I was embarrassed to watch them give up 5 tries to none in the first half as well. Some credit should go to Penrith though, as they are defending premiers and playing at home. I agree, he’s not going to be the savior. However, he absolutely needs to be in the 17 as soon as possible. He and Croker can share the #9 and #14 jumpers for the rest of the year. Weekes - need's Blacktown ASAP
After seeing him play in the #6 position yesterday, he tried but didn’t show enough to suggest it’s his natural position. Neither is coming off the bench and covering the #9 position.
