    Kaeo Weekes

Weekes has great skills & plenty of speed, hopefully he can gain a little more weight & learn from this season & move forward. He filled in here & there, but I believe he's a centre. Hopefully he has a great career whether it be at Manly or elsewhere.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Tigers [Round 27, 2023]

I agree in part. One has amazing skills but doesn't apply himself & the others are below par in skills, but keep trying. For Manly to rise to the top of the NRL ladder, they'll need to have better than both of those options.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Tigers [Round 27, 2023]

I saw I saw the game in it's entirety & was just amazed at how poor the Manly centres are. Garrick & Koula as centres would fix that problem (if Tom plays fullback).

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Tigers [Round 27, 2023]

What is truly amazing is the fact that the team scored 54 points, and yet the centres played no role in it.

    The honest thread !!

Ok, I'll play this too! 1) Disappointingly, Manly deserve their position on the ladder. 2) There's lots of ways this comp can be manufactured to deliver the result that best suits the pockets of the NRL. 3) Paseka needs more mongrel in him. 4) Tuilagi is not the answer to any Manly...

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

You must have misread my post - Ive written twice, that in my opinion it was a dangerous tackle.

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

Hi Eagle 1 Yes it was a dangerous tackle & I hope he recovers ASAP. However, certain NRL footballers frequently try to scam the ref for penalties. (Garrick is one of them)

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

Not all players do it, but some do. For a quick example, Greg Inglis used to dive to the ground head first to get leg lifting penalties. Refs watch games back & talk to each other too!

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

No, I'm actually saying what I wrote. Just watch him closely for it, as it's easy to spot (he's not a good actor) in fact he mainly does it for crusher tackles after turning his back (he turns his back into defenders frequently). Once he's achieved the penalty, he'll often take a quick tap & run...

Team List Tuesdays ... Should be a ripper.

That manly team is enough to inspire a new Manly 'viking clap' which will be the sound of Manly supporters palms slapping their foreheads.

Great to see Gordy get a go!

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

Plus a compass on the heel!

Was that a Dangerous tackle ?

Hi Eagle 1: I didn't say he was acting, in this instance he wasn't & I hope he feels better asap. What I said was...Garrick often acts injured to gain penalties, and he is a poor actor & that doesn't help his cause. My comment is just a fact, & a few other players do it also.

In my opinion the tackle was dangerous. That being said, Garrick often acts injured to gain penalties, and he is a poor actor & that doesn't help his cause.

    Jake Arthur

He got involved & tried hard, but he's light & a gangly & that will get spotted by opposition easily. It will be interesting to see if he stays at Manly & what position he'll end up playing?

    Shoe Dropped?

I feel it's a real shame for all. Schu has heaps of natural ability & could be a real star for Manly & an asset for the game in general. Without knowing what's really going on for him, the team & club, it just looks to me like he's lost interest. I hope he gets back on track asap.

    Kaeo Weekes

Have seen him coming through & he has stand-out ability, and pace. I'm sure he'd be disappointed in '23 like many supporters. I feel he would be a quality asset to the team if... 1) He's able to work hard & gain confidence. 2) Able to stay in the one position. My thoughts are that he'd make a...

    Don't deserve finals footy

As a staunch Manly fan, Thurs nights result was of course disappointing. The Roosters have some decent players & they simply outplayed Manly on the night. Although he & the coaching staff have some things to figure out, Schuster's try was a reminder to supporters of what he can do when he's...

    Don't deserve finals footy

Manly fans like to think that he was on team Manly, but the reality is, that he is on team Des & money.
