    Yeah, you could be right. But I was just wondering whether the fact that Melbourne Storm fielded an illegal team might nullify the result. But then, I suppose if it did it might also nullify the result of the 2008 Grand Final, because they fielded an illegal team in THAT one too! :-/

    Just wanted to get some thoughts on this. Does the 2007 GF actually count as a "loss" against our club record? I know that we physically "lost" the game on the night (I was there :(), but as the Melbourne Storm won the game with a team that was later declared illegal after the salary cap...

    I remember this game too! It was in Round 7 on 8th May 1971 at the SCG. I remember it particularly well, because it was the first time I had ever seen Manly beat Souths, the Premiers and top side of the day. Well, I say "seen"...I didn't actually SEE it, and neither did anyone else who wasn't...

    New jumpers

    I wouldn't read too much into that jersey in the drawing. It is too plain and unremarkable to be the 2012 jersey, I would guess. Too bland. Who knows what it is...but I doubt that the design of the 2012 jersey will be revealed until after the 2011 season is over.
