Hoops are back for 2022 !

Not a jersey guy typically but will definitely get the white. Love the hoops and the fact the sponsor logo is not blasted in your face. Well done, club.

    Post-Game Discussion Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

I’ve always thought Tom’s hands are the weakest part of his game. Yes, they’ve improved since 2015 as you’d expect they would, but it’s still an issue clearly.

    Post-Game Discussion Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

Hard to believe there is no correlation between dropping the ball and not winning. What has the professor been smoking? Almost every pre-match interview he speaks about ball control and making the most of our chances.

    Post-Game Discussion Souths v Manly [Finals Week 3, 2021]

Can’t fathom the thought of a Storm Souths grand final. Yes, go Penny!

The Bozo factor. What a great win on a terribly sad day.

True. Pretty much sums up every single member of our 2021 side, except Croker and Garrick who were exceptionally consistent. The others were either hot or cold.

Tonight is the night the premiership window opened.

Why do you say that? Surely we will only improve on this and be better for the humbling experience suffered against the big boys?

Will Marty be at Manly next season? Surely we must retain him as we are light in that area. Keppie and Josh are lax in discipline and Paseka will likely never play a full season without injury.

He is but so are most players of his ability, confidence and inexperience. Bit harsh to knock him after tonight. He looked great in those first 5 minutes including a try saving tackle when he was clearly in Disney land.

100% mate. Our centres are not premiership quality and our halves are… on the veteran end of their careers. Also agree our peak is still a year or two away. Future is bright but we are one or two short. In our clubs great history, this is the precipice where the likes of Arko or Bozo would go...

Im thinking a Josh could play centre next year. Has a great read of drawing players in and has a terrific pass. His move tonight to set up Garrick for our first try is a prime example.

Time to Unleash Moses the Monster in the centres

He’s off his head as usual. Still having a dig at Parker who did not play. Yet his boy cost us at least 18 points tonight. Go figure?

    Nothing but pride

I agree but I think it goes to show we are a couple short of a premiership winning side. It’s also worth stating how hard prelims are to win. This is the first time in my lifetime Manly have lost a prelim - which is incredible. South’s lost 3 prelims in a row prior to tonight. The future is...

Josh is so hot and cold. I understand he’s raw and his ceiling is high.. but **** he’s frustrating.

    What went wrong!

DCE didn’t have his best game, that is fair. I think he tired too hard and nothing worked. Special mention to Foz for his tackling, particularly in the first half.

Foran Reflects on the 2011 Premiership

To play devils advocate, perhaps the announcement was made before it leaked. The contract was signed weeks, perhaps months, prior to the GF. It did piss on our victory. Not denying that. Christ I was ropeable. But in hindsight, I think Des told told Dogs to delay the announcement until after our...
