Why do the refs put away the whistle for Origin?

The game has become a farce... but what else do we watch?

Better than bank interest - back Manly or their opponents

Our season is done. Sure it's possible to make the 8, but highly unlikely... I'm not a doomsayer, but, we are just not good enough this year, our side is too young, and we have had our fair share of injuries. We are too rocks and diamonds, but we are more rocks than diamonds I'm afraid.

Game Day: Manly v Cowboys [Round 13, 2018]

    It's worse than child birth.

    Rickys right.

I can't believe they are going with Tommy at all. He makes too many mistakes for Origin football. Yes, he is a potential superstar, but well short of a starting spot in Origin IMO. He averages 3 mistakes per game, and with the added pressure of Origin, he could cost NSW the game with his dropped...

    That Elusive FG

Cherry-Evans ain't going nowhere. Uate, and Hastings are going, maybe Brown. but Barrett has a fancy for this guy, and if we are short on cash, he might keep him.

Just Felt Wrong from Early on....

I agree with that, but I thought there were good signs. sure, Cherry-evans has to step up, we also didn't have one of the best centres in the game, and arguably the best hooker after Cam Smith... TT made his usual errors, but he tried his guts out, as did Brown, he did ok distributing...

Game Day: Manly v Raiders [Round 12, 2018]

I think our forwards will lead the way, followed by Hodko/DCE/Turbo show, and we'll put some points on these muppets, Manly 13+

The Players Voice - Lloyd Perrett

He mentioned he had 25% higher core body temperature than most people, so it seems this is not very common. You can't blame Manly, or the fitness guru's for this.

Raiders v Sea eagles [Round 12, 2018] - Team Lists & Pre Game discussion

I'm confident of a win. We have a good record here, and with Hodko playing a full game, our options can test the Raiders. I think Poo will hold his own, and the team help him in defence. I'm tipping Manly 13+ Good times ahead for the Sea Eagles!

    Decoy runners

Decoy runners just give the Refs another reason to disallow our try. Yes they can play a valuable role at times, but I'm happy for Manly to have a limited number of decoy in our present attack.

    What Dylan said to Scott

You have nailed Walker in one, and with some substance, I think it's a good analysis of his charactor. I'm running with this, but don't want to swap him, because he fits with this team.

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

Last week we had one half, this week we have two halves, makes the glass half full, rather than half empty, no?

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

Yes, he looked very happy in the video, big smile on his face, and showed a lot of respect for Manly. I guess because this all happened so quickly, Hodko may get a start against Melbourne. Today was his first session with the team, and he didn't look that flustered in the interview, so hopefully...

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

https://www.seaeagles.com.au/news/2018/05/15/sea-eagles-sign-trent-hodkinson/ Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are pleased to announce the signing of experienced half Trent Hodkinson, effective immediately. Hodkinson, 29, has signed for the remainder of this season and for 2019. His move to...

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

Maybe it's a channel 7 exclussive. I think we have enough evidence to be confident this has happened, unless Hodko was at Cronulla training, and borrowed the reporters training gear.

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

It was reported somewhere that Manly will be covering half of this year ($200k?) and all of next year ($400k?)

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

It's not like Hodko will be our messiah, but he should help stabilise the halves, and take some pressure of DCE. Also putting Walker back to centre is a major bonus. I can see this signing really getting us back on track, and I believe we are now a chance to make the 8 after such a horrid start...

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

One think about Barrett, he doesn't chop and change the team easily, or regularily, so honestly, I can't see him throwing Hodko straight into the team. We are coming off a win, and as Cameron Smith is out, he may choose to give Hodko a couple of weeks to do some ball work with the team, in...

    Hodkinson returns to Manly

Awesome news! We were 101/1 before Brisbane, shortened to 67/1 after the game, and will come into 40/1 uf Hodko is with us. After we beat the Storm, we will drop to 15/1... Happy dayz for is coming up, our season is alive, barring further major injuries...
