    HELLO top 4

Is top 4 even that important this year? Surely 7th and 8th are just fodder. If we lost to one of them then we are rubbish. From week 2 it's straight elimination. The reason I say this is because, let's face it, doesn't look like anytime soon the teams will be heading home to NSW. Meaning no...

    Dragon party

Big difference is that the Dragons players did it in the middle of a lockdown. The others didn't. It's why they should be in 14 days self isolation the same as the Dogs players and Dugan. I don't get why they're not.

    [Resurrected] Turbo injury,healt..wait..injury - updates

It's apples and oranges as well all know. But, if your employer was paying you to undertake 25 projects a year (let's call these projects games) and you only performed 12 of those projects (or games) I'm Tipping your boss would not be happy, and would probably let you go, or would renegotiate...

    [Resurrected] Turbo injury,healt..wait..injury - updates

If both parties were amenable to a renegotiation they surely could. Players manage to get upgrades all the time, these are renegotiations surely. No way the nrl would allow it, but in theory there is no reason why it couldn't happen. I'm not just saying the club can make the decision.

    [Resurrected] Turbo injury,healt..wait..injury - updates

I think it's time to renegotiate Turbos contract. Make it appearance based. Give him 520k base rate (pretty sure he can live on 10k per week pre tax). Then make it 20k per game played. If he plays the season he gets his 1.1m. If he plays 10 games it's 200k. Potentially frees up some cash each...

That 40-0 GF - favourite moment

Beavers try. My favourite piece of league of all time. Gives me goosebumps whenever I see it.

    The Kieran Forum

I thought he was likely to miss the start of the season anyway. Pec injury. How many games do Foz and Turbo play together is the big question. Over/under would be 3.

Roosters emerge as shock contenders for Joseph Suaalii

$550k a season according to this - Suli snubs big-money Dragons deal to re-sign with Manly (click on the headline for the story) Which reinforces my point. These contract figures in the media are all pure speculation. I've not disagreed at all with the fact that you just go huh? when you look...

Roosters emerge as shock contenders for Joseph Suaalii

Yep, this. Just look at the supposed values of the our players for 2021 (pre AFB leaving) Tom - 1.1 Jake - 900 DCE - 1.2 AFB - 850 Marty - 650 That alone comes to 4.7m out of a cap of 9.6m. Leaving 5.1m to be split between 25 guys - at an average of 200k each. And I've not included players...

    Salary Cap

Just once I would like to see a player change clubs for "family reasons" or "personal reasons" actually take less and prove that's the reason why. The NRL need to put a stop to this rubbish. They need to put in place a rule that says that any new contract cannot be for any more than their...

Game Day: Manly v Titans [Round 19, 2020]

New week, same crap, Tom clearly not close to being fully fit, playing for Origin.

The Hoppa Poll . Change vote option activated

At this stage, not close to 1st grade. Can't defend on a wing and as slow as a wet week.

Game Day: Storm v Manly [Round 16, 2020]

Utterly useless. Twice on tackle one and completely stuff it up. It's under 8 football.

Game Day: Storm v Manly [Round 16, 2020]

Not 1 player of this back 5 would get a start at any other club except maybe the Dogs.

    Only in the NRL

If you're referring to Brisbane as the one of those teams that rates the highest, it's a fallacy, one that Brisbane fans will throw out ad nauseum to justify their continual slot on FTA. Every year, the highest rated games are simply the best games, the games that people want to watch. Right...

Game Day: Knights v Manly [Round 14, 2020]

I never said I wanted the club to get rid of him, or even alluded to that. I do think he needs to be hooked though to maybe wake him up to what he continually does. I would go as far as to say in the past 4 weeks, 8 tries have directly on the back of a Jake penalty or set restart. These aren't...

Game Day: Knights v Manly [Round 14, 2020]

Stop blaming refs. This is just **** play. We are a poor team with way too much money and reliance on a guy with half a hamstring.

Watch the last 4 weeks. Over and over and over he does it.

Game Day: Knights v Manly [Round 14, 2020]

Get rid of Jake. I am serious. Penalties or set restarts lead to tries every single week. I'm done with him.
