Yep I know one of Eddie’s daughters. Eddie got done by the NSWRL for living out of the area when playing for Manly. He had a year in the bush then when he returned to Sydney he signed with St George and the rest is history.- Mals

The pride jersey round.
My old footy club used to do a wives/gf round where a marquee would be set up on the sideline and the ladies would be treated to free champagne, finger food etc. I guess this constitutes a “women in league” round.- Mals

Margaret Anthony loses her cancer battle
Marg was an absolute beautiful soul that had a kind word for everyone. She was the definition of “true supporter” and had the team’s back through the good and bad times. Fly high Marg, rest in peace xx- Mals

I will be sticking around. Tooves sacking made me 1000 times angrier than what’s happened to Desmond & I eventually renewed my membership in 2016.
