    I was happy with Bullemore's game today. Really liked the play where he backed up the intercept and made it to dummy half to enable the ball to be moved wide for Turbo to score.

    Well chosen, @HoldenV8 . I'd have room for those at the top of my list as well. One other I'd add was a game between Norths and St George in the early '90s that was very low scoring but was end to end action. (Might have been a tryless game too but can't be dead-sure of that...)

    Thanks for pointing this one out @maxta , it annoys the crap out of me when players walk a couple of metres off the mark and the marker (still in place where the play the ball should be) gets penalised.

    Klein really needs a strong reminder that there are two teams playing and that the rules apply (or should!) to both equally. I can cop Manly being penalised if the same standard is being applied to the other team as well.

    It's blatant game management, @Rackets . We need to to keep the 'product' exciting and keep the gamblers engaged therefore close games are required. It's a bit like the ridiculous car racing these days - no benefit in building up a nice lead 'cause there will be a pace car organised to bunch...

    I think the moral of the story is "Thou shalt not get to a three (or more) try lead at any stage of the first half without incurring the inconsistent wrath of the ref and bunker. Here endeth the lesson..."

    If I could change one thing immediately it would be ruling on forward passes. That pass from Kikau to Burton was a shocker as was the Mahoney pass for Hughes before half time. Even the half-wits in the bunker could rule on those two... The only upside here is seeing Easts get rogered... :)
