    It seems to me like Mata didn't watch half the season, he must have missed the games where the cowboys and roosters capitulated. It doesn't look like there will be any quick fixes for them next year.

    It was also my understanding that they would be running every monday night - although i don't really have anything to back that up. It was just kind of the impression i got from reading stuff earlier in the season.

    What??? He wasn't displeased with Manly's effort at all, he was simply commenting on the fact that the reffing was poor tonight and while the bad decisions went both ways - the commentary team made it sound like the bulldogs got the bad calls and Manly got none. I seem to remember them...

    I'm not sure if i agree with the concept, but i think to solve the problem of clubs feigning a players injury to keep a suspended player out longer, the NRL could employ a doctor who would assess players and see if they were fit to play.

    Willo's preformance yesterday didn't change my opinion of him. He is solid in defence but offers very little in attack. When we are at full strength again, and des is back to playing Willo for 15 minutes a game, i would much prefer to see a backrower with more attacking flair replace him...

    It would be much more productive if we saw how many tackles each of those people had attempted this season. I would hazard to guess that Burns has attaempted a ton more than Matai.

    Its not suprising they don't win. I wonder how many of those games that they have lost by a converted try or less would have gone the other way, at a ground packed full of their supporters, even if the capacity was only 7000.
