    He is a defensive liability at centre or wing, it is shown time and time again. Other teams have noticed it and there is always more tries scored down whatever side he is defending on. If Snake leaves, then he'd probably be our 1st choice fullback which is probably his best position.

    Hiku outstanding again ... in Test match

    Add to those stats about 5 missed tackles a game, and also lets in at least 2 tries...when playing on the wing. That's why he cops a bit of stick on here. Whenever he plays centre or fullback, he looks a different player.

    I don't mind this idea. Imagine getting 2 quality forwards, as an example say Myles and Aaron Woods. And then you have a backline of Snake, Turbo, Hiku, Matai, Gutherson, Killer and young Travers at 7. Suddenly the team on paper looks a lot stronger.

    At 8-6, the killer blow was 5 straight penalties. Most sides would struggle on the back of that.     Who should we buy for next year

    Lawrence, when 100% fit should be one of our starting props. I would expect next year Jake.T to be in the 17 every week. I think Hodges needs more game time at NRL level as well, especially with the new ruck rules. The game is faster. So we realistically need 2 solid halves and a starting prop.

    We only need 3 new players, in order - 1.Maloney - Experienced, premiership winning five eight/halfback plus his goalkicking. 2.Tom Burgess - Big, young forward who attracts plenty of defenders. 3.Elgey - young talented half to combine with Maloney.

    And what about all the forwards this year? How many of those guys have shown what talent they've got? Apart from Burgess and Jake T, the rest have been pretty ordinary. When has MCK been given a chance to show what he's got? He's played 1 or 2 NRL games off the bench. Give the guy a go!

    Tooves mentioned before Round 1 that MCK had a good pre season and was in the frame for a spot in the 17. IMO, we need youth and speed, hence the selection of MCK and also Hodges on the bench. Unfortunately our older guys are just a little bit slow and are being outplayed.
