    One thing I can say is Manly don’t often loose the players we want to keep. I’d say the extra space could be opening up a forward spot for a potential leader? Would love to see some experience signed for either our prop/lock position.

    I do agree that Shu has more upside but I am questioning whether Chez was able to shine because Cooper did a job at #6. Will be interesting to see what happens when Shu is back. Regardless it’s a good problem to have

    I 100% agree with the vision however I feel like Weekes makes a perfect #14. If so do you see us getting away with 2 smaller players on the bench?

    I remember his name being mentioned as a potential replacement for if the knights attempted to pursue Garrick. Now that we have secured Garrick and have mentioned him playing centre I wouldnt mind seeing Young on the wing.

    I always rated Gutho coming through the ranks. I understand he wanted to play #1 and we had Turbo but I’ll always want the best for the lad. I’m torn, can’t stand the squeels fans but like Gutho haha

    I would personally like to see a co-captaincy between Chez + Jake but in saying that I don’t think you need to know someone personally before deciding whether you believe they are a great captain/leader or not. I never met Jamie Lyon and I loved him as Captain.

    I think the fact the not one forward has stepped up to Mariner after he’s been ragdolling Foran in his final game says a lot about our pack and the state of our team in general. V sad times, let’s hope we can pull it together before next season
