    Personally I think Suli is suited better to wing then Kelly. He is taller and likely better under the high ball, and he has a stronger carry coming back from our own end. That's what you want in a modern winger. Just needs to trim down a tad..

    Also this argument about speed, Esan Marsters at the tigers is probably the form centre in the NRL and hes probably one of the slowest. He's just got great footwork and ball skills and the ability to make things happen around him.

    Enjoying reading this thread and peoples opinions on players. Im also on the Kelly bandwagon, and atm if it came down to squeezing players in to a tight salary cap id have him over Walker. As Bearfax says he seems to have that ability to make time stand still - a lot of the indigenous boys...

    We played ok today, but the reality is the roosters despite being strong on paper have been ordinary all year and were there for the taking again today.. A better team would have put them away.. Anyhow reasonably pleased with the effort.

    100% correct - pretty sure not every player to play NRL has got them from dominating in the lower grades. Its about having the talent and showing glimpses of it. Some players actually rise a level or two when they are thrown in the cauldron..

    They keep picking him at centre so cant see him getting a call up at 6 in first grade. Apparently Joey Lussick has been solid in recent weeks so another good game from him might get him the call up..

    If he doesn't show some glimpses of form in the coming weeks id be open to letting him go - considering what he's on. Should be in the prime of his career - we cant afford to carry players on potential, need to strengthen other areas.
