2018 Rumoured and confirmed signings (NON-DISCUSSION THREAD).

The Penrith Panthers have announced Sione Katoa has signed a new two-year deal with the club. The contract extension means the 22-year-old hooker will remain with the Panthers until at least the end of the 2019 season.

Best player you have ever seen.

My top 5 in no particular order would be - Lewis, Thurston, Johns, Clyde, C Smith.

I have never seen a more corrupt game of football in my entire life

Same story every year. NSW win then all Qld is up in arms about cheating ref's and the results rigged. Qld win then the same things apply in reverse. Exactly the same if I read other NRL teams forums (guilty). Every supporter base says the same thing - Our team is hated by the NRL, the refs are...

How did you become a Manly supporter?

Being a very young Queenslander and having no Qld team to support(in the mid 80's) I figured Manly was as close as I could get. Qld colours plus Vautin, Shearer, Chris Close etc. Never looked back. Not even when the Broncos entered the comp'.

Another player requesting a release - David Klemmer

I don't think Asofa would come super cheap but I would hate to spend $700K on Klemmer when $800K could go close to getting us the other 2.

Another player requesting a release - David Klemmer

I wouldnt say no to Klemmer at a reasonable price, On his day he is as damaging as any forward in the game. Although for the money Klemmer would probably demand I think we could go close to getting both Nelson Asofa-Solomona and HARAWIRA-NAERA, Corey.

Where do we need to strengthen?

Certainly a second rower is needed. Coen Hess or Ethan Lowe from the Cowboys would be my pick or Nelson Asofa-Solomona. Wouldnt mind a winger either. Someone like Suliasi Vunivalu or Daniel Tupou possibly. David Nofoaluma from the Tigers would be a handy pickup as well in the wing position.

James Graham, would you be happy with him?

If we throw big money at just one player next year then I hope it is Coen Hess. He has a MASSIVE future. I would love to see 'The Loch Hess Monster'' signs on the hill at Brookie.

Im just grateful we have 2 outstanding young hookers to choose from. Both will be in our top 17. Its win-win for Manly whoever gets the starting gig.
