The NRL is failing it's fans

If it wasn't for the Manly club being in the NRL I wouldn't bother watching the game anymore. The rules are confusing, the game managing element which is very predictable during Manly games is making me more frustrated with the game. No longer does the best team win without the refs getting...

Refs think they are rock stars

True but I think Penn doesn't want Seibold to speak his mind because he doesn't want to pay the fine.

Refs think they are rock stars

Up 16-0 and the tigers get the next 6/7 penalties including the sin-bin of Bullemor. The game managing has become so noticeable that when you get to a lead you get nervous knowing the refs will get involved by giving the team on the receiving end plenty of penalties and the rub of the green. The...

    Moving forward improvements needed

I think so regarding Garrick, but then again anything that looks remotely close to a hip drop is on report these days.

All NRL Games [Round 24, 2024]

The only 2 ways the Tigers will win next week is if we take them lightly or the refs give them plenty of penalties while we camp up our end defending. If we get at least 50% of the ball we will put points on them.

    Moving forward improvements needed

I know but if the ref doesn't think it's penalty efficient at 1st why should the bunker be able to review and place someone on report. 🤔

    Moving forward improvements needed

What I don't get is why players were put on report but no penalties were awarded..

Brookvale oval's surface makes Alliance stadium's surface look like crap. Very true. Brookvale oval looked tremendous even with all that rain.

All NRL Games [Round 24, 2024]

Brookvale oval's surface makes Allianz stadium's surface look like crap. All that money the state government spent on Allianz and it's still holding water.

    Dummy half - 3 into 2

Simpkins and Gordie would be my pick. Both have pace and Simpkins's delivery is much better than Croker's. Gordie could be anything and we saw glimpse's of what he can do against the Rorters.

    Ben

Could have moved Talau to centre and Jaxson Paulo to wing or bring Parker back.
  12. Damien2812

    Ben

That's correct and that's why I said Manly have much better options at centre.
  13. Damien2812

    Ben

True. I just think we have better options than Ben T.
  14. Damien2812

    Ben

Ben T should never have been playing centre with Clayton or Parker being better options.

Drop out rules change for us?

Let's hope so but I wouldn't hold my breath since the club doesn't want to be fined.

Is a good loss a thing?

I'm glad to see Manly have heart and resilience until that final siren which was the hallmark of the 2005-2014 Manly team.

Drop out rules change for us?

    Ask Graham Annesley. 😝

[Resurrected] The need for change thanks to Concussion.

I agree that having key outside backs being ruled out for the majority of the match disadvantaged us tonight. Backrowers playing wing and centre limited us on our attacking options and was easily read by the Rorters defence. The game needs to change because handicapping any team of trying to win...

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Today he took some poor options in attack and will he ever run the line. He had 2 opportunities to take on the line but decided to pass it instead of taking the line on inside the Titans 10m zone. 😔

    Jamie Humphreys

Thats what I heard, who knows if that's true though.
