    The Daly Cherrygraph

I actually met Buzz in Vegas this year. Prior to that I had a pretty poor perception of him and didn’t give him much of a go. One of the nicest blokes to meet and really happy to have a chat with a footy fan. Changed my perspective. Weidler in the other hand… nothing could change my opinion...

    Payne Haas

Recent quotes from Mestrov state we would likely be interested in Payne Haas if he goes to market for the 2027 season, as we will have a lot of salary cap space becoming available. I personally believe it’s a million to one shot for us to sign Haas, but what it does suggest is that Jake and...

    Jamal Fogarty

Plus in that scenario we could buy a forward

    2026 halves plan

Don’t mind this in theory, but if we were offering DCE $750k because it maxed our cap then Fogarty may essentially be a straight swap. As a swap it’s a downgrade. But if we also add a quality forward then it’s a win

    2026 halves plan

I heard a rumour that Humphries did something inappropriate off field. Main reason he got let go

    apocalypse or opportunity ...

Good take. We’ve been middle of the road for years anyway, I’d prefer we were building towards something

My new take after processing this over night… Manly decided not to re-sign DCE so they could retain Hoppa and offer him the fullback spot. Turbo to 6 DCE went out to find an offer and got one It gets announced to the public that he is leaving Manly Manly scramble to appease fans with a last...

    Joey Walsh

I don’t think Turbo needs to kick at 5/8, look at Sharpe for Newcastle. I’d just turn Arthur into a 13 so we have an extra kicking option

    Is he off contract?

    apocalypse or opportunity ...

Exactly. I’d argue that Turbo being fit is more important than DCE playing. If Tom plays more than he doesn’t next year we’ll play finals. Put anyone at halfback.

    2026 halves plan

I agree we need to cop a down year next to invest in the future. We can’t panic buy another half and not improve our forwards just to then lose one of our youngsters.

It’s sad that he can’t even say something like “I love this club and always will, but we couldn’t come to an agreeement” Instead he’s thrown the toys out of the cot on national TV

How to F a season in one go

He’s always been selfish the way he’s handled this stuff. It’s frustrating because our season is probably cooked now. But I believe this will be better for our future.

    Hooker Recruitment

There has been a lot of criticism on here about our hookers and a lack of recruitment in that area in recent years. Interestingly, I’ve seen Manly mentioned two times in relation to hookers recently. When Jayden Brailey signed with Canberra we got mentioned as being interested and now the same...

    Line speed and ruck area

The only guy in our squad that has the ingredient we’re discussing in this thread is Brown. Unfortunately, his body can’t keep up with his mind anymore and it’s only effective for a game or two a year. We need to find some tough, fast, young forwards that enjoy putting their head where most...

    NSW Cup 2025

I’d prefer he replaced Sipley or Tevaga, at least Duck has some mobility and doesn’t get lazy in defence

    Jeremiah Nanai

Jacob Laban from the Wahs would be a cheaper option with plenty of upside

    Pre-Game Manly V Raiders [Round 3, 2025]

I’d drop Tevaga. He’s not helping our poor defence in the middle. That’s where we need to improve

    Post-Game Discussion Warriors V Manly [Round 2, 2025]

100% agree. Sipley and Tevaga are too slow and lazy in defence when under fatigue. It’s been shown up twice already in two rounds and something I predicted in the offseason.
