    Pre-Game Manly v Sharks [Round 23, 2022]

Just noticed Smalley has been named on the wing and Koula at fullback. We must’ve got an exemption for Smalley to play because he wasn’t named in the initial squad on Tuesday and is number 23. Pretty heavy for weekes, considering this is probably his best shot to get a proper crack at first...

    Juniors Discussion Thread

Interesting to see that Ryan Garner has been named at centre in our jersey flegg team for the first time. I believe he is Luke Garner’s younger brother and has been playing jersey flegg for the rabbits this year so manly must’ve picked him up as a late season signing.

    Pre-Game Manly v Sharks [Round 23, 2022]

Walker made 48 tackles when he played the 80 minutes at hooker against the dragons, so he’s very capable. However, I don’t think he will play the full 80 minutes at lock like Jake usually does, so might not make as many tackles.

Where’d you hear that he is out?

    Planning for 2023

From what I’ve seen he’s going to be a very good player. Can’t believe we lost him. Local junior and captain of a lot of our junior sides.

    Our hooker going forward?

Yeah mate he’s a gun from what I’ve seen of him. No point looking for a hooker outside the club imo, as all the good 9s are signed up. Better off to keep developing GCKT and give him a crack next year off the bench and see how he goes. Reckon he could provide some really good impact for us. And...

    Nah that’s definitely Tom Symonds.

2023 Rumoured and confirmed signings (NON-DISCUSSION THREAD).

Yeah mate, he actually signed with them at the very start of this year but it wasn’t really reported anywhere on silvertails, I just saw it on the pacific sports management Instagram page. Definitely a bad loss.

    Garrick’s Stocks Rising

Sorry mate I must’ve missed this. Who’s the specialist fullback we’ve signed?

    First time in ages

The everlasting love for foran from a lot of people is because the bloke is a manly legend, great player and great bloke. Hopefully one day down the track you’ll come to your senses and be able to appreciate that.

Happy to see the end of this season...

That’s all I can look forward to at this stage. The day DCE leaves this club.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Well humphreys has already played a fair few games for blacktown this year and latu is making his debut in the flegg team this week. So I’d assume humphreys will be the regular halfback in nsw cup next year and latu will probably start the season in sg ball and then once that competition...

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

And as for Schuster, I agree that he needs to either be happy to play in the forwards for us or start looking for a new club because he isn’t the clubs long term 5/8 and he’s certainly not a halfback.

    The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

Spot on. Latu is the long term 6 and Humphreys should be the long term 7 imo. The problem is that humphreys will only be prepared to wait one more year in reserve grade before he wants to be the starting halfback for us and now that DCE is signed up for another 3 years I can definitely see...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 20, 2022]

Also, I forgot to mention his shocking defensive read in their first try, where he came out of the defensive line, planted his feet, and then failed to slide across in support of his outside men, leading to a massive overlap and an easy try for them. The same **** happens every week with that...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 20, 2022]

Part time supporter you reckon? Mate I watch every game without fail and go to every home game there is, and was once again there tonight. The reality is DCE cost us big time tonight with his extremely average kicking game. Yes I know he always does the little one percenters well, like always...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 20, 2022]

What game were you watching mate? His kicking game was awful. Only good thing he did all night was that try assist to Davey in the first half

    Pre-Game Manly v Roosters [Round 20, 2022]

Well lucky both them and the jersey flegg team have a bye this week then.

Fill in the blanks this weekend

Yeah and he fractured his hand that game and has had surgery on it since. Doubt he’ll be able to play
