Tommy T Injured - usa bound
1. I hope Turbo is ok. Head injuries are no laughing matter - heaven forbid he gets another one in quick succession, and then he is dealing with a world of pain (see Paddy McCartin - for those who think concussion isn;t a 'thing') 2. BY FAR the most consistent number 7 in the comp. He isn't a 10/10...... but he is 7-8 out of 10 all the frikkin time. He is simply superb, and the BEST use of $1m in the comp. Half way - report card
Half way report card - good question/thread. Coaching team: They haven't improved the team..... they've tweaked some stuff, they've brought a different voice - but they haven't fundamentally changed too much in this team. Simply the best
That ad was my first real memory of Rugby League. We migrated to the northern beaches from Ireland in 1991... instantly took up supporting the local team , without a single clue about what the sport was. The tina Turner angle meant my mum loved it too.... and that was that. Life long Eagles fan...- Harmless27

World cup
TBF the Rugby world cup is one of the biggest global sporting events on the calendar - so cant fault them for pumping money in to that one.... But a massive concern for the RLWC. I really hope it doesn't go to UK, AUS or NZ. Pacfic islands would be great, but not viable. Not a lot of options...- Harmless27

Tot Totally agree with you @lsz ANYONE is welcome to join the club - all comers are welcome, and you have called out some people who are great examples. My point is that when you join Manly, you become a representative of the club and the community. You don't have to be 'from the nthn beaches'...- Harmless27
