    My top Eight - Zorba

My God, Gidley. If Gidley was going to win a D-M it would have been when he was the primary star in an otherwise lackluster team, now he will have to share the points with Snowden, Boyd, Uate and others. We don't even know if he will get minutes or if Benny wants him around. Gidley is an...

Tigers set to shut doors to general public for future Leichhardt fixtures

I am all for tribalism, or for the us v them mentality. But the NRL is a professional sport, and it would die if every game became an exclusive one supporter type only event. There is no life in a supporter group that doesn't have an opposition. Games would become timid affairs with a tennis...

Tigers set to shut doors to general public for future Leichhardt fixtures

Firstly great way to start a post, F***Tards, real nice there. Well you know what I go to about 10 away games a year, and I am not looking forward to being locked out of CUA, Shark Park, Leichart, Belmore, Parramatta Stadium, Dairy Farmers and Kograh. As I am sure fans of other teams would feel...

    Manly Got Shafted Again

Whatever, Truth is that Manly fans don't need a reminder that we play in the NRL. And its certainly true that no-one else does either, we win the thing so often that they can't forget. ( Plus the fact that we won't let them. :P ) Other clubs however, ie. Souths need all the help they can get...

It's League TV – tackling today's big issues

    MembersGuru changed hands

Larissa, Well done and congrats. If your boss needs any evidence that you did a fantastic job, just point them here. Not to read what we are saying per say, but just to take note that you are the only person, bar none who I have seen unite Silvertails in praise. That's a remarkable achievement.

No team dies on my watch

Two things. 1. NRL will die if we stop where we are and fight every battle in our own backyard. Saving the Sharks should clearly be less important then expanding the appeal of the game. 2. Anyone who thinks Gallop would lift a finger to save a privately owned team, much less this team is deluded.

Length of NRL season is a joke/A novel strategy to win

My reading of the bible was that he gets a fair amount of time off, specifically one day a week.

*revived thread* Rugby league is not a sport, it's an atrocity

RE: Rugby league is not a sport, it's an atrocity Written to get a reaction, the DT must be having a low traffic week for their websites comments section.

    The Sharks money woes.

We are screwed then. The sharks are done as far as I am hearing, and I highly doubt that in the future the IC will be willing to help them out, not without a move to Adelaide... If the development isn't approved I don't see how they go on, because I was reading last year some time that Wespac...

Manly Sea Eagles Chairman Scott Penn has made a bid to wrest sole control of the club

The issue that confuses me is this : Penn 2 Votes Quantum 2 Votes LC 2 Votes FC 1 Vote 5 votes needed to get a majority yes? How does buying Quantum out help? Penn would still need the support of the LC/FC.

    Sign and Go

Football, that's where it happens. You will often see players sign to move to a new club in the next transfer window, but if they do sign with a new club while a window is open they more often then not move straight away.

Clubs' rebellion threatens future of NRL

You know what I like about this happening? We would go down in history as the FINAL winner of the NRL.

    In other news

I believe Delmege stepped down from the board some time ago, so this is old news being brought up now, as it wasn't sufficiently interesting to write an article about when it happened.

I think Des Hasler has won his last Premiership.

They won't give him the 4 years he needs, after 3 they will replace him with the next big thing.
  17. Rusty

Will Hasler last the whole 2012 season?

Personaly I would sack Des the day before the season starts, let him go, let the players use their clauses, no one will have any space left in the cap anyway and they will be stuck.
