Hard to disagree with as I thought all three had great games (and probably in that order), but I think T-Williams deserves some love.

    The Young Guns

This is the thread brought up in the NZ/Aussie Test series thread. We're at 2010 now. I'd still have Clarke in front narrowly. I have enjoyed how this discussion raised some of the stars of the current game - Clarke, Strauss, McCullum, Ross Taylor, Steyn. Can we put that Williamson kids name...

"Studs up grub": Slater mega thread

The version I've always heard and believed was Benny went to the first scrum and said "I hear your brother is a bright spark".... They're all basically the same anyway. The message was clear, an extremely low act.

    Re: Rumoured Signings Haha, nice.

David Penna and the Toyota Cup Boys

Riccardi's kicking game looked very sharp and with a better chase we would've had another two or three tries off his left boot. Also had a lot of time for Jowett and especially Cunningham who was very physical and made some fantastic yards.

    Thoughts

Also thought it was very, very sketch. Hayne fair dinkum loves taking a dive more than anyone in the history of rugby league. Hayne started off going for the ball but once he realised it was out of reach he took his eyes off it and went for the man instead.

    confused?

It's a bull****, cop-out ruling but they've been doing it since the start of 2009. If you're a dummy-half, you need to get the ball out quickly. If you're doing it too slowly and someone can get their hand on your arm, then you deserve to either lose possession or interrupt your attack. But...

    refereeing so far.

.....I can see this thread exploding in the next few minutes.....

    Side named ?

Yeah, exactly. Lyon/Foran will do exactly what they did last year. In defence, Foran will be in tight defending at 6 (where he is absolutely fine and has no troubles muscling up) which also gives Killer less defensive work and allows him to focus on attack. Killer will be the focus in attack.

    Side named ?

Bailey out, Killer to the centres, Hokko and Foran in the halves. It's my favourite balance to the team - minus Brett Stewart of course!

Gotta be better than the Monday Night Footy team we're served up, lead by Phelan and co which is absolute rubbish.

Rose v Fulton? I don't mind that at all.

    Tony Williams Warns Tigers

When I wrote that he hadn't registered a single missed tackle. And to suggest he let in three tries is pure ignorance. The Fulton one was a match-turner though. It's incredible really, all game he had really difficult decisions to make with traffic headed his way and he defused EVERYTHING. He...

    Stewart knee

Agree. Very brave. But I was wishing he'd just chop him around the legs and get straight up. All I wanted him to do was get straight up.... Last year when he hurt his knee they said 1-2 weeks on the night he injured it, then half a week later said he would be gone for 12 weeks. He didn't make...

There will not be a better summation of the game than this.

    Tony Williams Warns Tigers

It's his defence which I think has been excellent. He's had Benji running at him with support players on either side, something which basically every centre in the comp has failed to defuse - and he's taken the right option every time. Including some big rattlers. (He just levelled Fulton off...

    Tony Williams Warns Tigers

Only halftime, but T-Rex is having a fantastic game. Made some important, metre-earning runs but more impressively he's been very sharp in defence. One on one strip of Benji. A couple of physical hits. Looks a different player to last year in confidence alone.
