    I get it that the signings, or lack thereof underwhelm some people on here. But I do agree we have upgraded the back end of our roster. It probably doesn't move the needle, but it at least shows the commitment to try and incrementally improve the roster with the obvious salary cap constraints.

    Yep Brooks is a 600k player and probably played to that standard. Others with a "hotter plate" are Turbo and Jake and amongst a few others.

    I reckon he probably has the highest floor bar Turbo and possibly Lehi though. Thats important when considering the right mix of players.

    Let's put this in context - this is a signing in the 25th -30th player bucket of the roster. Never going to move "the needle" but to give a guy 100k who is a premiership winner and hungry - then for me it's incrementally a step in the right direction.

    I will be shocked if Bateman doesnt come. Suspect there is a stand off on his price and both manly and the tigers sitting there for now, not budging. Tigers will end up budging IMO as they cant have him back
