    I hope DCE plays and captains Origin 1. I know it'll be a big risk - and as a QLDer I have added bias - but if he plays and goes really well at Suncorp, I can see his confidence and game going to another level post origin. He was robbed of MOTM game 3 last year and If he can play like that...

    Last year we won 1, lost 1 @ Suncorp v Donkeys. We won our home game that was moved up here (around this time last year!) in a massive upset. Feel more confident going into this game despite who we are missing. Hopefully nut out another gutsy win! I have 2 teams I follow passionately every week...

    Fair enough. Have only seen him play twice and he seemed solid. He was also the only back in the reserves list last week (19 I think) so figured Dessie must rate him. Personally, I'd like to see Elliot into centres, suli to wing and Anderson given a crack at fullback. In Des we trust.

    Hoping Barrett has just named the team this way to somewhat keep the media away from Hastings and move the focus to D Walker who is much more stable in mind to confront the extra attention...??? Could be a clever tactic.... OR he could just be giving Hastings an extra week of training with DCE...
