The Poll .. Should Folau be allowed to play NRL ?

Don't forget the Yes vote was at the top of the poll so maybe (only maybe) got some donkey votes. ;) No offence meant here.

I am waiting for @God to give his opinion. His vote might be worth two of ours, ;)

SILVERTAILS TEAM .. NOW ..PICK YOUR COACH

The Godfather KA coached Manly for 5 years and into the Grand Final twice. I reckon he had as much to do with all the 70's premierships as anybody. Not suggesting he should be up for best coach but he certainly was a lot better than many others in his time.

SILVERTAILS' TEAM ... NOW PICK YOUR #14 ..

I don't know if we're picking a coach but if Des is chosen he will have to coach from the bench instead of from his usual eyrie. Player-coach just like country football.

SILVERTAILS' TEAM ... NOW PICK YOUR #14 ..

Ian Martin for me. Can play in the halves and at lock and has done so in 6 grand finals. Would be able to play hooker also in today's game where you don't have to win the ball. As tough as Tooves and would tackle as low as Beaver and as hard as Randall. Made Bozo and his outside backs look good.

WHO ARE OUR BEST 2 OF THE PAST 50 YEARS? .. WINGERS

Blokes on the NW hill reckoned Les needed a washing basket to catch the ball. He scored a lot of tries but would have had a lot more if he could catch. I thought he may have been the publican at the Brookie pub for at one time. Does anyone remember this or is it just another of my seniors moments?

Inspirational game to get our players up for the 2021 season

What a time waster. I'd probably have to follow every team in that league and watch every game.

Who was Manly's best in the past 50 years ... Centres

Would think this is no contest. But some great slightly lesser players in that group. Loved watching Gartner, Innes, Matai, O'Conner and Tezza play. Always thought John MacDonald didn't quite reach expectations for Manly though.

Who was Manly's best in the past 50 years ... 5/8th

Marto for me. Good enough to get the immortal Bozo moved to centres, played in six GFs and won four. Then Thommo.followed by Cliffy.

Who was Manly's best in the past 50 years ... Halfback

I know what you are saying. At times I am never quite sure if I see Tooves as a half or a hooker and Des as a half or a lock.

Who was Manly's best in the past 50 years ... Halfback

Had to go for Dennis Ward. Man of the match in our first grand final win. Ward might have been slightly taller (maybe) but I reckon Tooves probably outweighed him. Always thought DW should have been riding track work at 4am rather than tackling huge forwards. Very tough to go past Tooves...

Silvertail's team of the half Century ... Lock

Saw Reilly in one of his first games at the SCG against Souths. He kicked off (unusual) and the ball went about 12 metres along the ground and Bozo who was chasing it picked it up and ran 40 metres and scored untouched. Mal had all the skills plus the best elbow fend I have ever seen. Walked a...

Silvertail's team of the half Century ... Lock

I agree but I would only have Bozo several lengths behind.

Silvertail's team of the half Century ... Prop

Hard choice. Had to go for Roberts and Ward. To me they had some extra skills as well as being tough as nails. Very hard to leave out Lurch, Spud, Harves....could go on and on.......

Silvertail's team of the half Century ... Hooker

Only a guess but how about Max Krilich, John Gray and Ray Brown. Only because they all played around the same time and I think Brown may have got picked for a tour from reserve grade.
