Sign him up now. Haha him and Matai would cause havoc out there! The new Bash'em Brothers!

    Hate the Eels.

Stopping their 2nd phase play is the key for mine. If it's close at the 60 min mark I believe our superior fitness and stingy defence will come through. If they score early, it could be a long arvo. I will be there - can't wait. Last time I went to Parra Stadium was the '05 Final - a black day...

    Farewell from Crusher

Well, I'm off next week to do a few mths travelling in Europe and then to work in London for a while. Of all the years to do it, I leave in the year we can win it all! That's what struggling through through the CA for a few years gets you. Hopefully I can get to watch the Grand Final somewhere...

    Adam Cuthbertson

Gould has been drooling over him like there's no tomorrow. Isn't it funny how 2 wks ago no one in the media or the game, outside of Manly, had ever heard of him, and now they are going on as if he is the Prop Messiah!

    Ugly

The Sharks had a team of absolute Nevilles out there. They were missing, Kimmorley, Dykes, Bird, Gallen, Thompson and Ross. There's no way we should have even gone close to losing on Sat. If we weren't gonna break the hoodoo then, we were never gonna.

Spud Carroll on the Footy Show

One of the great highlights is that night game where Chief charged Spud but knocked himslef out, then Spud goes over and stands over him. Awesome stuff. He gave us our mean streak during those great few years.

Spud Carroll on the Footy Show

Anyone watch last night? They did this Rivalries of yesteryear segment. They spent heaps talking about Chief and Spud's famous rivalry in the '90's. Classic stuff, those two went at it hammer and tong. But then they were classy enought to shake hands wholeheartedly last night and showed there...

Lyon is too slow - this is a concern

I just thought his chase effort was pathetic - he looked like a prop out there trying to keep up.

Lyon is too slow - this is a concern

Did anyone see when Flanagan made that break how Lyon basically half-heartedly gave chase to try and cover Flanagan's supporting player? He basically gave up. This meant that Stewy had to cover BOTH players, which meant the try was scored. All Lyon had to do was shadow the support player, but he...

    Anderson gone...

    Haha we retired Andreson!!!

    Lyon

He still hasn't even made 1 line break this season. Until he does, I think he is underperforming.

    Brett Stewart

I thought he was very good again, although i'd still like for him to get more involved in the attack. 2 Origins and not 1 mistake - pretty good in my books.

    Roosters this weekend.

    I think we'll beat them by 20+

    The thief

Gould got it exactly right. The play was to miss Watmough and hit Menzies with the cutout pass. He hit Watmough twice. The other time we scored. If he had thrown a cutout on that second last play, we would have won the game. A top half back should have been able to see that.
