    CANT BELIEVE DES

I don't think Witt would have been dropped for his defence. Along with Monaghan and Menzies, Witt is in the top 10 for the top one on one tackles.

    We Can Beat the Dogs

Here's an amazing statistic, we score an average of 39 points at home. So far this season we have played 7 home games. Our lowest score has been 25 against the Storm while our highest has been 48 which we have score twice (Knights and Rabbitohs). Aside from the Storm encounter we scored 34 or...

A few questions must be asked

Alot of tries are scored down the southern end for some reason. In round 2 we scored 4 tries there against the Sharks and only conceded 1. In round 6 we scored 6 tries at the Southern end as opposed to the 1 at the other end.

    Great Day at the Footy

It was a great day at the footy yesterday. Our biggest comeback in our history, 10 straight wins at home and all three games one. Watmough was amazing. 29 tackles, 2 line breaks and he made 162 metres off just 17 hit ups and 4 dummy half runs. Witt was also outstanding, two tries and his...

Pick the Score and Man of the Match

Some people weren't confident that we would win our last two matches, on the contrary we won both by 8 points. We should be looking for revenge against Parra for two reasons. - One, they beat us on both occasions last year. - Two, we didn't show up against them in our second encounter and...

Who is going to the Game?

I'll probably be going to the game, for those who have Foxtel and Austar, the match will be the Eagle's first live and active match ever.

    Monaghan Keen To Re-Sign

Fresh news from NRL.com Monaghan keen to re-sign 11 May 2005 Inspirational skipper Michael Monaghan says he hopes to re-sign with Manly this week despite speculation linking Melbourne halfback Matt Orford with the Sea Eagles. Monaghan's manager Jim Banaghan had claimed that his...

    Fortress Brookvale!!!!

On the premier league guys. From what I remember of Alberts, he made two major breaks and was fairly consistent. Lennon was solid, made plenty of metres and cleaned up well at the back. His try towards the end of the game was well deserved. Matai made something from nothing and travelled about...

    Three Try Jye

It was a good win for premier league despite trailing 16-0 early on. With 1 minute to go a Travis Burns field goal had put the side in front by 7. From kick - off though the Eagles scored another try to win the game 47 - 34.

    Bulldogs have problems

With possibly eight players of their strongest starting side missing for next week we should have a chance to put a big scoreline on. It'll be a good chance for the boys to practise overcoming our night time and away problems. Kick off's 5:30 Saturday.

    broncos game

Apparently the Broncos have lost Carroll for the match and from what I've heard he has protected Lockyer in defense, now we can really work him :)

    Crowd Size for Round 9

How large do you think the crowd size will be against the Tigers in round 9. In round 6 I was pleased with the fact that we breached 17 000, especially regarding the fact that our opposition was Canberra which is at least a 4-5 hour drive for their fans. Last round we reached 18 000+, a type of...

    Seasons End

After winning 5 of our first six games against all sorts of opposition, and effectively finishing the first quarter of our season in spectacular fashion, where do you think we will finish at seasons end? If we do finish in the top 4 by seasons end will Matabele live up to his words? On...

    Manly v Souths

Pick the Score Manly - 42 Souths - 6 MOTM - Hicksy to hit top form, hes had two games now and I expect him to fire. How good does it feel to be on top of the ladder? Furthermore we share the top position with two teams who have only lost one game this year. Which teams did the Sharks...

    Watching the game on NRL.com

I felt that Monaghan was robbed, in my opinion he was the best on the day. 1 try, an assist, a line break and plenty of effective defense. He didn't even get a dally m point.

    Friday Night Football

Yeehaw! It will be good for all the fans that can't get up to Brisbane to watch the game and on a FRIDAY NIGHT.

    Watmough

Unfortunately you lose points if you are suspended so Watmough will need to be careful. The 2nd player on the Dally M ladder is Orford on 5 I think.
  20. I

    Watmough

Watmough also leads the Dally M count after obtaining 8 Dally M points out of a possible 9 this season. As long as he doesn't get suspended he could rack up quite a total this year.
