    The Shane Flanagan Influence

That was years ago. The game has changed a lot since he last coached the sharks. He has had quite a few gap years since then. 4 years actually.

    The Shane Flanagan Influence

He hasn’t done anything yet? What impact? I am not saying won’t he but still patiently waiting. I don’t think our current position on the ladder and overall form at this stage would be envy of many other clubs. Can’t honestly see the attraction. I mean clubs wanting to sign him as their head...

Turbo should go have a chat to Jamie Lyon about priorities

I trust Tom can make this decision for himself. Both he and his brothers bleed maroon and white. They are great young men and I am so glad that they play for our club.

    Shoosh

Buzz is apparently News Limited highest paid Rugby League journalist/ personality even more than Matt’s Johns. Sad but apparently true. People obviously are attracted to what he offers.

Spoon is about as likely as winning the competition at this stage. We will definitely finish somewhere in between…

Definitely won’t be Cheese. Too expensive and a player they won’t want to let go even though his first year with them has not been the best. Can’t see us chasing Walker either. Anyway the word “star” is used so loosely these days. Could even be one of their younger up and coming players.

    NRL & The Voice

Sporting organisations and the corporate world have now taken the role that church ministers once took in western society. i.e. To herd the lost sheep into their ideal sense of contemporary moral normality. Personally I am not sure which one is worse. You could argue rife hypocrisy on both...

Tommy T Injured - usa bound

I don’t believe in that BS mate. 9 days and no history of concussions. Tom is a chance of playing if this is what he and the club wants.

Tommy T Injured - usa bound

No it’s not mate. You can appeal it. “ Another important factor is the ability for clubs to apply for exemptions to a player’s 11-day stand-down period in “exceptional circumstances”.

Tommy T Injured - usa bound

They can appeal it. Tom does not have a history of concussion so I guess he is still a chance of playing

Being a passionate footy team supporter should afford the need for therapy from time to time. The best therapy being consistent winning

    Keppie

Keppie played well yesterday but I can understand why some get frustrated with him as he promises so much but some times delivers rocks instead of what you perceive is his potential.

    Half way - report card

Very disappointed so far! Was expecting more from the new coaching staff. It seems no different to recent years. Truly hoping to be in a position at years end where I am praising the new coaching staff.

    Keppie

Based on actual time on the field Keppies not so good reputation doesn’t appear to be debunked completely when you look at time actually spent on the field. He has had the least game time of the players he has been compared too. Especially in regards to errors

    Keppie

I hate bagging out players and I don’t like how on the forum some get carried away with it. in regards to these stats I suspect they would look different if we measured actual time on the field. I suspect Keepies strike rate would aptly be much higher when compared to others, likely the highest...

Jake Arthur joins Manly in mid-season switch

Was hoping our 30th player would be forward, but if this kid can play hooker as well as half than it kind of makes sense. In the few games I have watched him play in he seemed competent to say the least. Certainly offers a lot more in defence than young Johns. We still have young Fainu...
