I had been reading the threads over there prior to and after your now infamous comment. I know it has now been covered several times here - but regardless of how you try to spin it what you said was racist. Good on BHQ for not allowing it to pass.
It was supposed to be a little tongue in cheek suggesting that if they add more ads they won't just add a couple - they will drag the game out more than seem to already.
They will seriously have to slot Sunday arvo footy into a 3 hour timeslot to fit more ads in.
I can see the Storm getting a live match on 9 each week. Nine will love the fact they can fit an ad in during each tackle with the way the storm wrestle and slow down the play the ball.
Hayne will still have his 10 good minutes a game. I can't see it having a great effect on the Eels. He is still too erratic and his play too selfish to be a top 5/8.
When I come down to Brookie I marvel at how cheap the tickets are. If I want to go to Bruce stadium to watch the raiders play I have to pay well over $30 for a ticket where you can actually see the game properly.
Hopefully with some redevelopment the prices won't skyrocket, but I can see...
I'm also filthy that Manly is again not playing in Canberra for the third year in a row.... it's really dodgy as an interstate fan to not get to see your team play without having to fork out travel/accom money.
Carney's dive was the worst of the game - he was hardly touched - sure he was knocked off his feet, but i've seen bigger hits in under 8's netball. It was compounded by the fact that Anasta also stayed down. Should give Anasta a 'dive assist' in the stats at the end of the game.
