    Des has spoken ....

Excited to hear young Burbo maybe in the mix in 2021. Will need to do a lot of work on his defense and toughness to play NRL in the forwards.

    Des on verge of record

Best we have atm. According to the Bulldogs CEO Tbaz is the best available talent in the market. LOL!! With less injuries than in 2020 we are a top 4 side IMO under Des.

    The Old Hoppa treatment

Sounds like the other guy needs some support from Dr Cosmo Kramer. I believe he actually resides in the forum.

Is Barrett our greatest ever coach in the NRL era?

Just wait till next year when they keep losing and they get tired of Baz’s predictable press conference performances around rebuilding and starting from the bottom up etc. The Kennel is set to explode in 2021. Deck chairs will be a flying!!!

Is Barrett our greatest ever coach in the NRL era?

No doubt this thread relates to the fantasy league

AFB’s change of team for personal reasons may not work out so well

AFB has payed his dues for his past sins. He earned his money and in the main did his job for Manly. I wish him all the best for the future and hope he avoids any kind of trouble. In saying this the game is blessed by having players of the caliber of Jake and Tom who both excel on and off the...

    The Daily Smellygraph stinks again.

Hmmm just shows their ethos that headlines are more important than people. Unfortunately nothing new here. The Manly bashing’s will continue regardless.

Good luck to young Hoppa. I am happy with the direction taken in signing Saab and the up and coming player from the Roosters. These players in addition to Tevita Funa, Morgan Harper and young Burbo give us strike and depth we did not have last year.

I think clubs would have remedy to deter players from abandoning their contracts. One is sacking ( termination for breach) as the tigers have threatened and if enacted upon the NRL likely deregistering the player. ( unable to sign with another club for a period time) All contracts should have...

Hey good chatting with you. My points have been specifically about probity ( ethics, governance and principals leading up to the commercial transactions you are referring too). I suspect Manly agreed to release AFB their best! forward to avoid the likelihood of such an event ( a untenable...

Technically in regards to Ado Carr you are right. The storm technically said no., thus the current situation. I.e. Addo Carr asks for permission to negotiate with other clubs ( aka permission to break contract) Storm say well yes provided it is worth while to us knowing that it will be an...

Can not say clubs who tell contracted players they are likely not to be playing FG the next year unless it involves a mutually agreed form issue have much regard for probity either. The same applies to clubs happy to benefit ( like the tigers) from a player say like Addo Carr breaking their...

    Albert Hopoate Gone?

This should be linked with the 75 page ‘ book of Albert thread.

I can understand why the Tigers are digging their heals in here , however I also see their hypocrisy. i.e. happy to benefit from Addo Carr breaking his agreement with the storm but now apparently seeking contract reform from the NRL when one of their players wants out to earn more money...

For a bit of Fun - Who is the bigger tool Greenburg or Trump?

Trump is no fool. Look at what he has achieved completely against the odds and against popular media. Sure he has an ego but he certainly has a lot of ticker that deserves respect IMO.. I wish some of this heart can be instilled into the eagles next year.
