Because we've been in the comp since day 1 and we are the only club that has participated every year in the top grade. Manly are minnows compared to us.
To be honest the Roosters have the potential to be a really great side, I can see them dominating the comp for a few years. They are a much better team than Manly and they will show that when they play them at the SFS in a few weeks.
You just have to look at the Roosters defense to see that they have as good a chance as anyone. Those who still think the Roosters are just making up the numbers are kidding themselves.
Different eras bring different rivalries. In the 70's your main rival was Easts. I remember the game in 74 at the SCG when we beat you 15-5 in a normal game in front of 50,000. That was really something special.
