    Pre-Game Eels v Manly [Round 3, 2024]

Hopefully Talau proves fit and I think (hope) Seibs will give him every chance to be good to go. He was good on Sunday, even if he does lack outright pace for a winger.

    Pre-Game Eels v Manly [Round 3, 2024]

The team has been named. Same as last week just with Ray on the wing and Talau on the extended bench at this stage. I think TT will be given every chance to prove his fitness before Sunday. https://www.seaeagles.com.au/news/2024/03/19/nrl-team-list-round-3-v-eels/

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Exactly how manly Manly first grade games were played from 2000 until the end of 2002?

    The Daly Cherrygraph

Does anyone realize that provided he stays healthy ... in 3 weeks at Brookvale against Penrith, Daly Cherry-Evans will play his 310th first grade game for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles to become the most capped player in club history?? On that day he should pass the current record of 309 held...

    POLL Brooks Vs Shoe

I tend to agree with that. Look, DCE is 35. He is in the final years of his career and TBH if his Origin career lasts beyond this year I'll be surprised (it'll be his choice) while I give his NRL career another 3 years at best. Luke Brooks will be 30 in November. These guys aren't going to be...

    Comment about our Defence

Our defence needs a lot of work. But its only Round 2, we'll see improvements. Just on this subject I looked at the NRL ladder and came up with 1–17 in both attack and defence, remembering that both the Titans and Tigers have only played one game each. Attack: Cowboys (64), Raiders (60), Sea...

    Who misses out?

Who misses out?? The best headache a coach can have. But I'll say this ... of all those out right now, Saab on the wing is the only one who should be a walk up start. Lets hope the team is playing well enough that those coming back from injury or suspension have to fight their way into the XVII.

Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

We are clearly more of an attacking team than we are a defensive team. But the name of the game is to outscore your opponents. I said it last week, I'll say it now.....while I prefer good defence, I don't care if we let in 30 per game so long as we're scoring at least 31.

    Other Games [Round 2, 2024]

The pass to send Hammer down the sideline for his first half try was only about a metre or so forward.....

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 2, 2024]

Not good news out of the Manly sheds. Tommy Talau dislocated his ankle. That's him gone for a while.

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 2, 2024]

Its his first time regularly playing centre since 2018 for the Dragons in NSW Cup. And the transition from wing to centre is not as easy as some of us think. He'll own that No.4 jumper.

Add in the 2 Brooks didn't score. At least. Get that far ahead and who knows if the flood gates would have opened??

    MVP: Rd 2 v Roosters

3 - Paseka 2 - Brooks 1 - Koula Paseka finally ... FINALLY ran like his size is his advantage. The bloke is 6'6" and 120 kg. Today he finally ran like he IS that big. Brooks didn't get a lot of chances to run today ... but his cool head under pressure when others (DCE and Turbo) were...

    Post-Game Discussion Manly v Roosters [Round 2, 2024]

Truth be told we should have won that by a LOT more than just 7 points. If we ever actually click ... damn we're going to be tough to stop.
