I think the conspiracy was twofold. One was to have Souths win the GF to make it a 'fairytale ending'. That's still on track. Toovey fine stands
The only thing I've been able to figure out about the NRL this year is they're focused on a Souths premiership win. Anyone who stands in the way of that gets clobbered.
