    I’m in the same boat. I can’t stand wiedler and I thought mestrov was doing a great job up until this. I hope it doesn’t come out he was behind this “smear campaign” not a great look. And jsut proves no matter how good we could be doing our front office is a shambles once again.

    I assume it meant Daly told them in December. He was free to negotiate in November. I’d hazard a guess and say if a hosting club wanted to keep a player they would start negotiating before the player could “legally” start contract negotiations with other clubs.
