Next years team will almost be the same as last years.

    01.Stewart
    02.Farrar
    03.Matai
    04.Lyon
    05.Williams
    06.Foran
    07.DCE
    08.King
    09.Ballin
    10.Kite
    11.Watmough
    12.Williams
    13.Stewart

    14.Buhrer
    15.Rose
    16.Galuvou
    17.Lussick

The wingers spot could go either way, oldfield or Farrar. Ive chosen Lussick over Mauro, only because i think hes got more agro, hard pick to drop mauro, a few decisions for 2V to make !

Theres no chance this will be the actual 17. But imo king/kite/galovou/rose all 4 of them in the 17 will make us too big and too slow in the props. No chance of going B2B. Robinson is ready for more games time

Be interesting to see if Tooves changes Des' selection policy/strategy in 2012. I reckon Oldfiled is a cert on the wing and I think we will see a lot more of Harrision.

Some people seem to have an issue with Ben Farrar. Perhaps they weren't paying proper attention when he was playing with us.
In reality, there is no way Whare is ahead of Farrar. Whare has potential (very injury prone) Farrar is still young but way more experienced and I think he only missed 1 game in 2010 due to injury. Expect him to be a starter on the wing.

Look out you will hammered for saying that about Farrar.

Many on here for some reason remember him as a superstar we traded Michael Bani for.

You never know - if heaven forbid a serious injury struck.
Otherwise on the wing - he seems quite an adaptable player :p

I would not say he is a superstar but he can hold his own, seems to like Manly (to return), is young and fresh - why not he did well in for the most part last time he was here

I don't think it really matters too much who is outside of Lyon, but we need somebody dependable outside of Matai, so I think Farrar is the better option there if Williams doesn't play.

Everybody fully fit I would have Wolfie outside Killer and Oldie outside of Skivvy. I'm not convinced about having Whare play outside of Skivvy.

As for the forwards, I think next season it will be very interesting to see who Tooves goes with there, we all know Des would have stayed will the tried and tested, let's see what Geoff comes up with. It'll be fun to watch.

So we all agree that Oldfield has his defensive deficiencies under control?

Not necessarily but he is imho ahead of Whare in that regard.
I think his speed will create opportunities from the wing that Farrar might not be able to.
