Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere already, but I still cant figure out why we chose to run into the wind in the first half against St George? Particularly given how busted we were with injuries, it seemed almost cruel. We then took no advantage of the wind in the second half, but instead attempted chip kicks on 2 or 3 occasions. Can never understand why anyone would not take advantage of the wind when you have it, given it can completely die down or even change direction by the time the second half starts. Not the major reason for our loss I know, just something that irked me at the time.

With Manlys second half efforts this year I too would chose to run into the wind in the 1st half.

Were you moaning about it when we scored a try directly after halftime from that tactic against Souths at Brookie ?

SO clearly the team and the coaching staff expected the second half to be a problem.

6 months of the same thing and no fix or reason for this problem? Its 80 minutes, holy ****.

Mind you, that kick would've gone the 10 if not for the wind.

Foran was one metre from kicking a 40/20 a few minutes into the second half. That was the beginning of the end.

According to the commentators we had the choice of which way to run?

In my day, if You won the toss You got to decide whether to kick/recieve AND which way You wanted to run.

I feel as though I have been running into the wind all year this year - I'll be happy to see the calander say 2012 to be honest. One of the worst. Almost comedic the bad luck I have had !

So no plans for 2011? I hope your luck improves, for both years :)
