SUNSHINE COAST prop Junior Palau says the surging Sea Eagles cannot fall into a false sense of security against cellar-dweller Ipswich at Stockland Park today.

The Sea Eagles are flying high on a five-game winning streak and smashed premiership contender Norths 42-0 last weekend at Bishop Park.
Sunshine Coast is fifth on the Queensland Cup ladder with three matches remaining.
A win today would be another step in the right direction as it strives to defend its premiership title.
Manly contracted Palau said the Sea Eagles had to make sure they did not go into the Jets clash thinking they would win easily.
“The boys are obviously very confident after last week,” he said yesterday. “But we know we can’t go into this game thinking they’re going to be easy-beats.
“They don’t have much to play for, but at the same time they have nothing to lose.
“They won’t be easy.”
After a slow start to the year the Sea Eagles have made a charge over the past month, knocking off premiership favourite Souths Logan and former ladder leader Norths.
Palau, 22, said the Sea Eagles rose to the occasion against Norths.
“The boys realised how important the game was and how much we really needed to win last week,” he said.
“It was mainly a mental thing last week. If we go in with the same attitude (against Ipswich) we won’t have any problems.”
The Sea Eagles’ form is similar to the same stage of last season, when they won nine of their last 11 home-and-away matches on their way to a historic premiership.
Despite the similar run of results, Palau was quick to shut down talk of repeating the success of 2009.
“A lot of people like to put it that way, but I don’t really like to think of it as that,” he said. “Last year’s last year and it’s a new year now.”
