This Manly Player was a local Junior and mobile back rower who broke into first grade just prior to the 1970 Semis. He was a shock selection in the NSW team in 1971, picked from Reserve grade.

He played with St George from 72 to 75, missing the two premierships. Instead he was in team thrashed by Easts in 1975. He returned to Manly in 76 but faded quietly from the scene after some good form. He did not feature in the 76 grand final team.

Too easy Larry. You are obviously of my vintage. I remember the furore when Drake was pcked for NSW but struggled to crack first grade at Brookie.
