With Wallace almost certain to be out of SOO 3 after rupturing a testicle (ouch) in SOO 2.

    Who comes in?

For mine, the side needs to be:

    Stewart
    Hayne
    Gasnier
Lyon (Bellamy will pick Cooper again)
    Quinn
Anasta (Bellamy will pick Bird again)
Orford (Will never happen and Bellamy will probably pick Gidley)
    Cross
    Buderus
    Fitzgibbon
    Hoffman
    Gallen
    Bird

    Tupou
    Perry
    Farrah
    Mason

I might be a big bopper short, and White is definitely on his last chance but I just reckon our backrow looks a lot tougher with Bird and Gallen together.

Agree with that. I'd go as far as adding Perry to the run on side with Fitzgibon to second row and Gallen to the bench.

For mine Perry and Kite both should be up for consideration and Orford would have to be close, he is by far the top NSW performing halfback

I bet Finch gets a run though

Just thinking about last week's game, Gidley was one of few NSW players that could be described as "reasonable".  He added impact off the bench and the only way he will be halfback is if anasta is 5/8th.  Otherwise they have no kicking game.

We all know Bellamy won't pick Orford so the halfback will be Finch.

Sniffing the win it appears as though there is a push for Bird at lock and some specialist front rowers.  I reckon they might go with something like:

    Stewart
    Hayne
    Cooper
    Gasnier
    Quinn
    Anasta
    Finch
    Cross
    Buderus
    White
    Hoffman
    Gallen
    Bird

    Mason
    Bailey
    Laffranchi
    Gidley

Of course one weekend injury will upset the applecart!

Surely ox couldn't play as bad as finches last origin game, besides i can actually say ox has been doin ok of late.If he just runs, kicks ok & not throw those ridiculous passes which don't reach the mark he'll do fine.

I would pick Mullen at halfback and give Gidley the flick. Kite must play in the pack.
