Simply needs to happen, brett morris being approached 12 months out, choc i believe has been approached by arthur. Matai warriors.
There needs to be a trade window and draft.
If someone wants to leave early then the club should be compsensated with player trade from club wanting player.

That would be far too sensible and would require someone in a leadership position to actually do something for the good of the game for a change, so wont happen. The game is run by the media who have a vested interest in having player movements played out in the various media forums, generating interest from the punters/suckers/fans.

Sounds far to sensible for it to happen in NRL, they can't even handle the fixed schedule yet which most other major comps in the world seems to be able to work out. Each team needs to be have some kind of control of a player they develop in their system, i.e restricted free agents or team control years in relation to contracts. Being able to have your juniors poached with no compensation is just madness, just encourages teams not to develop young players when they can just poach over clubs under 20's teams instead.
