If the under 20's are firing, then really we need to turn back the clock to circa 2005 and look at what pushed us up over the following few years.

So we've got some boom backs and forwards coming up, just like with Snake and Choc, etc. What did we put around them to bring out the best in them. We brought in BK, Killer, Kitey, Orford. BK was huge - and we definitely need someone of that level in the pack to steer them. Mason isn't that guy. He's a good person to have on board because he loves to get in front of the media and take the heat off guys but he isn't the one. Is Ballin? Not sure. Is there then someone available who a) isn't a grub (put that in to exclude guys like Bird and Gallen), but has played at the highest level, won comps and can lead? Nate Myles maybe

Then a younger prop who is hitting his peak ala Kitey. Burgess. Get him. Who is our Josh Perry?

Then we need to address the halves. Don't think we need to go to the lengths of Killer and Orford as that would probably cost us 2M, but a Maloney and someone who can handle leading a squad around the park.

I saw them when they walked into the season launch night and they all looked as though they had spent the off season pumping iron. They looked very strong

Made a few of our first graders look pretty weak in comparison.

Not sure who our under 20's strength coach is but he has done a good job this year

I think Nate Myles classifies as a grub. Could still be worth signing him though, just make sure we stack up on toilet paper.

Beau Scott would be excellent to lead the young forwards.
