All week we've been hearing about Greenturd and how he hopes to have a dynasty at the Dogs, "no **** Todd, what club doesn't want a dynasty".
We've had to endure his smug face all week as if he's some messiah,he just found a bit of luck at the Dogs because after all the incidents of the past years, they could not have sunk any lower, and they have a leagues club that is prepared to pour millions and millions from poor gambling addicts to try and win a competition, and earn some public credibility.
How would Todd go at the Sharks or Manly where this cash isn't so readily available?
It was great to see that great former coach Terry Lamb, saying that the Dogs couldn't lose, nice one Terry.

Maybe he can go out and buy what the Storm have.....ohh that's right, cheating, they've already tried that one, didn't work either did it you dogs turds.

I don't get this obsession with Greenburg. Who decided that this guy is the best in the business ? what does he do that all the other CEO's don't ? Sounds like the media, and a lot of posters on here, have fallen for the Bulldog rhetoric in the case of good ole Toddy. Canterbury haven't actually been that successful since he has been in charge, sure they made the GF this year, but so did Parra in '09 and Easts in '10. I'll take our recent record over theirs any day.

The only piece of 'silverware' they have won under his guidance is still just a wooden spoon.

and Apparrently he barred access for the Media last nite into the Dogs shed

Very shrewd move. Maybe he wanted them all to brush their teeth before fronting the media, in case any more evidence of alleged nibbling was visible.

I was going to start a thread on this guy too.

He wanted to start a dynasty but he forget that you've got to win one first!!!

Idiot.:p

Let's not forget our dynasty started with a loss in '07. Let's not get too cocky people, lest they do embark on a good run, then what ??

OK, that's fair enough, but you didn't read it or hear anywhere that we wanted to embark on a dynasty, sure we would have loved it, just like every team, but in situations like this, you have to learn to be humble, and keep things to yourself.

The best in the business ??? He is the King without a premiership crown.

When so many in the media are fans of The Berries, Greenturd and his turncoat coach have been elevated to God-like status - in the media, at least.
You can bet had Hassler been coaching Manly this year he would not have received the sickening praise lavished upon him. Where is the headline:
HASSLER FAILS. and the opening par:
After conquering all last year with Manly, Des Hassler's decision to leave the premiers has backfired with his new team - built on the proceeds of pokies and shonky mid-season deals - choking when it mattered most...

On bits of ear

Gee, how bad is Greenburg? club gone from cellar to minor premiers, building a multi million dollar training centre with state of the art facilities, recruited the best young talent in the game, took the game's best junior recruiter, conditioner and coach from a club who while handbag arguing forget to re-sign the league's best coaching team and a leagues club who gets 6 million dollar grants.

Took a game to Mackay to spread the word and has brought the fans out of the woodwork (and buying merchandise at a record rate) jersey full of big dollar sponsors and meanwhile we had cutting edge execs like Magilla, Graham Lowe (taxi) and Pat Wilson (hmmm)

Lowey did get us on Maori tv for free though.

No idea Mr Greenburg :dodgy::s

Greenberg seems like a smart operator. Although he is definitely assisted with the club having deep pockets due to the leagues club grants.

Don't like his smugness but he has been great for the Dogs.

He targeted and got Benedict Arnold and his team.

He has fought hard to try and clean up the Dogs image, some idiot fans keep bringing him down here.

He at least has a plan and direction and appears to be in charge.

If the Dogs don't sign a decent playmaker they might be cannon fodder now the Storm have shown others how to beat them.

Greenberg will try to rape the Storm next

Very easy for a CEO to look good when they have unlimited cash resources.
I rate Damien Irvine and David Perry ahead of Greenberg both have done outstanding jobs with less resources at their disposal.
