Ox walked out on us for the big paycheck in the UK after dicking the club around for nearly 8 months. He should enjoy his premiership ring as a momento of being part of the greatest club in the world. That about sums it up for me.

Walked out on us?  Dicking the club around?  Where do you get your information from?  It was about as amicable an end you can get.  

As for those bagging Ox for that last final game against the Storm.  How many of you are the same that want to hang DCE after one game?  If it wasn't for his efforts during the season we wouldn't have even made the finals.

I don't mind bagging him for his rubbish games but saying he was hopeless the entire season, well you either don't have a good memory or are a poor judge.

As per last week, no. I'm trying to get really fit this year. My b'day's 04/04, and I'm going to try and fight ageing

Orford was much like Kennedy.They were brought in to build up a premiership winning team.We went within a whisker once (beaten by cheats),and won the other.Job done.Let the guy pick up some retirement money.Probably wasn't the best half we've ever had,but we clicked at just the right time.As Cambo said-he joins an extremely elite group as a Manly premiership winning captain.

Just can't figure it out.

When Ox played for Manly, according to some commentators/ jounalists, he was ****e; too old, too slow, too small, kicks were too short, etc etc etc.

Now that he's playing for the Green Slime, he's just what they needed; experienced, teacher, knows al the tricks, a real Godsend for the Club.

I enjoyed his Captaincy at Manly.

I think if anyone is entitled to have their opinion on the club it's someone who has captained the club to a premiership. He hardly bagged the club anyway, all he said was that he wanted to stay and Manly didn't want him.

Five points C&C:
1. The 2009 semi was an aberration in the context of that season and wouldn't even have been an elimination semi except for Gallop's treatment of Stewart. 
2. Who doubts Manly's thoughts and emotions were elsewhere that day for obvious reasons.  They're only human.
3. Only freakish results in other games ended Manly's season.
4. The records do say Manly lost 40-12 to the salary cap cheats who went on to win the premiership.  And without the cheats are you sure we wouldn't have won that year?
5.  In both 2005 & 2010 we barely scraped into the semis in the last round, didn't ever deserve to be there, were absolutely no hope, and in most supporters eyes were guaranteed of being thrashed before the games even started. Quite different to 2009.

But if you don't like the thrashed bit, then delete it.  The results speak for themselves.
