I just checked and Adam Cuthbertson has no prior offences that I can find so he should get a 25% for Seven years incident free and 25% for an early plea but I'm not sure what the actual charge was

here are the gradings
Careless High tackle
Grade 1 = 75 points
Grade 2 = 125 points
Grade 3 = 175 points

Reckless High Tackle
Grade 1 = 300 points
Grade 2 = 350 points
Grade 3 = 400 points

Intentional High Tackle
Grade 1 = 550 points
Grade 2 = 650 points
Grade 3 = 750 points

It was careless 2/3 IMO or maybe reckless Grade 1 at worst - based upon that 1/2 games

I remember whoever was doing the commentary of last night's game on Nine (Sterlo?) was saying that in his defence, he wasn't actually looking at the player when he put his arm out, so whether that helps him or not, you tell me.

RAIDERS prop Troy Thompson will undergo scans on his neck and knee after he was hit by a high shot in last night's 31-18 NRL loss to Manly in Canberra.

Sea Eagles interchange backrower Adam Cuthbertson was sent off in the 31st minute for the tackle and Thompson lay on the ground for more than a minute before being helped from the field.
Thompson said his knee felt worse than his neck today. "My knee got caught underneath me when he hit me high,'' Thompson said. "I'll probably have scans this week to see the extent of it. I may have pinched a bit of cartilage in my knee.''

Thompson, a vital part of Canberra's front row, came off the bench last night after earlier concerns about a minor back injury. "My back was fine, it pulled up okay today.''

He refused to rule himself out of next weekend's clash against Parramatta. Canberra coach Neil Henry said the Raiders had two other minor injury concerns with Glen Butriss and Bronx Goodwin both suffering concussion.

For Manly, the early part of the week will be spent sweating on the judiciary with young gun Cuthbertson facing the possibility of suspension.
The Sea Eagles junior got some help from Thompson who was unfazed by the hit. "I don't think it was a send off,'' Thompson said. "It was high but I don't think there was much in it.''
